About Me
Well, I'm approaching my mid-40's, whatever that means. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife of 20 years and 2 children who are growing up way too fast. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music Degree. So what does that have to do with a website about hiking? Absolutley nothing! However, I do lead a worship music and minstry in a local church and that is a vital part of my life. Another vital part of my life is the number of years I spent in scouting before achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in 1990. I absolutley love being out in the woods spending time in God's Creation. While I didn't grow up in Arkansas, let me just tell you, Arkansas, also know as "The Natural State" has some of most scenic places I've ever been.

Trailingarkansas.com is my personal outdoor website to encourage people to get out and explore the outdoors of the great state of Arkansas. It is my belief that there are many people who want to get outdoors, but are no longer physically able as well as those who are physically able to, but don't. I hope that trailingarkansas.com will be an inspiration to them both.
